Connecting with those at work is crucial to an enjoyable work life.

Because of the pandemic, companies were forced to work online, sacrificing the connections that employees usually made in the office. Although virtual meetings and other forms of “long-distance bonding” were held, they didn’t feel as “real,” nor did they give the same results. The work boost that office colleagues can give was lost, too. When talking about online work, many people felt a sense of loss because they were unable to “actually [create] something together” with their work friends. The workplace and office culture allows you to “learn who you want to be,” and you are constantly inspired by those around you.
