Students See Covid's Impact on Teachers

Teaching and learning had been a struggle during the pandemic, and both educators and students see the lasting impacts it has had on learning and teaching.

In a March Student Voice of 2,000 undergraduates, students report noticing faculty fatigue and frustrations. The article shows an infographic summarizing the results. The topics covered in the infographic range from descriptions on professors’ organization in class to how well they accommodate students’ requests. Overall, flexibility around classwork, adaptability in technology, and organization all increased. Despite these challenges, “the shared experience of the pandemic has resulted in both students and professors having new levels of understanding of and empathy for each other.”
